Cuban at Heart is a photographic exhibition which runs from November 28, 2012 – January 17, 2013 at Krause Center for Innovation (KCI) Gallery-Lower Level, Foothill College with an opening reception on November 29, 2012, 7-9 pm.
This exhibition offers 17 personal reflections on daily life in Cuba at a time of historic change. What struck each of us was the passion and resilience of the Cuban people. Despite daunting everyday challenges, Cubans display their huge hearts and upbeat spirit in everything they do. It is this spirit, creativity and “heart” that we wanted to capture in this exhibition.
